The Weeknd to Livestream Exclusive Concert from Brazil on YouTube

For fans unable to attend in person, is offering a special treat: a live stream of his exclusive one-night-only concert from São Paulo, Brazil, on YouTube.

The highly anticipated event is scheduled for September 7 at Estádio Morumbi, produced by Live Nation. The performance is set to include The Weeknd’s chart-topping hits and might even provide a preview of what’s next in his musical journey, according to an official announcement. Fans can tune in to his YouTube channel at 8 p.m. ET to catch the show live.

“I’m thrilled to share that we’ll be live streaming my show from São Paulo, Brazil, so that everyone around the world can join in this special night,” said The Weeknd in a statement. “While I can’t be in every city and town, moments like this allow us to connect in real time and share the energy, no matter where you are.”

In conjunction with the concert, The Weeknd will donate 10 percent of the net proceeds from merchandise sales, both at the event and online, to the Brazilian Soul Fund. This initiative aims to support local families in rebuilding after natural disasters and floods.

Following his Brazilian performance, The Weeknd will continue his After Hours Til Dawn tour with stops in Australia. The tour will hit Melbourne on October 5-6 and Sydney on October 22-23. Originally planned for late 2023, the Australia and New Zealand shows were postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Fans can also anticipate the possibility of hearing new material during the concert, as The Weeknd has been teasing snippets of songs on social media in recent weeks. Last year, he hinted at the completion of the third installment of his trilogy, following the “After Hours” and “Dawn FM” albums.

“I’m finishing the third part of this saga, of this trilogy,” he told Variety. “The name of it will come out soon, but it’s not called what some fans think it’s called. What they think it’s called is actually a song on the album, but that’s not what the actual album is called.”
